Overview

Circuito Grande es una ruta que recorre la zona de los lagos y bosque andinos, con un escenario natural único.

La salida desde Bariloche se realiza por la ruta nacional 237. Cruzamos el arroyo Ñireco, el Río Ñirihuau y en el extremo oeste del lago Nahuel Huapi, el Río Limay, límite de las provincias de Río Negro y Neuquén. Y luego atravesamos la pampa Newbery llegando a Rincón Chico.

Bordeamos el Río Limay hasta Rincón Grande para encontrar el llamado Anfiteatro, que se asemeja por sus formas a un gran circo romano.

El trayecto de Circuito Grande, continúa ingresando al Valle Encantado, allí se pueden ver extrañas figuras rocosas que por sus formas se han denominado: dedo de dios, centinela, tren expreso. Los siameses, entre otros. Pocos kilómetros más adelante se encuentra Confluencia, donde se unen los ríos Traful y Limay. Antes de cruzar el puente sobre el Río Traful tomamos la ruta nac.65. Un camino enripiado que se interna por sierras y valles, desde donde se aprecian los ríos Cuyin Manzano y Minero.

A través de hermosos bosques de cohiues bordeamos el lago Traful. 4 km antes de llegar a la villa del mismo nombre, el camino efectúa una curva brusca. Allí, limitado por una rústica baranda de troncos, se encuentra el mirador del Traful, sobre un acantilado de más de 70 metros sobre el lago.

Luego de pasar por la villa se llega a Puerto Arrayán y después al paraje El Portezuelo donde el camino empalma con la ruta Nac.234, o Ruta de los Siete Lagos. Inmediatamente se atraviesa el lugar denominado Quintupuray, y costeando el lago Correntoso, se arriba a Ruca Malen. Siguiendo la ruta al sur y atravesando densos bosques, se bordea el fantástico lago Espejo, mientras el camino orillea el lago Correntoso, recorriendo 6 Km., se llega al cruce de Villa la Angostura, tomando allí la ruta nac. 231.

Pasando luego por Puerto Manzano y mientras se bordea el Brazo Huemul transitamos un camino con varias elevaciones que pasa por la Península Huemul, empalmando luego la ruta Nac. 237 por donde finalizando nuestra excursión Circuito Grande, regresamos a Bariloche.

Río Traful

Cruzamos el puente sobre el Río Traful y bordeamos el Lago Traful.

Lago Correntoso y Lago Espejo

Luego de pasar por Puerto Arrayán y paraje El Portezuelo, bordeamos los Lagos Correntoso y Espejo.

Brazo Huemul

Bordeamos el Brazo Huemul mientras transitamos un camino con varias elevaciones que pasa por la Península Huemul. Luego tomamos la RN 237 para emprender el viaje de regreso.
