Overview

El Dique Los Sauces se encuentra a 15Kms. de la capital riojana por RN 75. Rodeado por cerros que le dan un marco deslumbrante, el Dique Los Sauces embalsa las aguas del río homónimo formando un hermoso lago artificial. Apto para el camping, la pesca deportiva y las actividades náuticas. Constituye un destino inevitable para todo aquel que llega a La Rioja deseoso de disfrutar de sus pintorescos paisajes y su naturaleza característica.
Durante el verano, el Dique Los Sauces presenta un balneario habilitado que hace al deleite de lugareños y turistas con sus refrescantes aguas y la sombra que lo bordea.
En sus cercanías se extiende el novísimo túnel que comunica a la ciudad de La Rioja con Villa Sanagasta.

Sanagasta, fue construida muy cerca del Valle del Río Huaco. Lo cual dio origen a un un oasis con numerosas quintas especializadas en el cultivo de frutales. Durante el verano esta localidad es una de las preferidas por lugareños y visitantes para transcurrir los días. Las numerosas huertas y fincas han dado lugar a loteos para la construcción de casas de fin de semana y complejos vacacionales que cambiarán definitivamente la fisonomía de la localidad. Llegando a Cuesta de Huaco los paisajes que presenta este camino son deslumbrantes y transcurren en un trayecto de casi 9 kilómetros. Los colores tierras veteados nos dan la posibilidad de obtener fotos panorámicas inigualables. También iremos a Pinchas, Solar Castro Barros, Aminga y Anillaco.

Visitaremos a bodegas artesanales, regionales y La Rosadita. “La Rosadita” fue un lugar emblemático de la década de 1990, por donde desfilaron políticos locales, nacionales y extranjeros, celebridades, empresarios, periodistas y personajes reconocidos de la farándula y el jet set argentino e internacional, entre otros ámbitos. Todos estos destinos son los que recorreremos y disfrutaremos a lo largo del día.
