Overview

Excursión a Cerro Catedral es sinónimo de aventura y diversión. Esta montaña, está ubicada en San Carlos de Bariloche, y se encuentra dentro del Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi. Es el centro de esquí más desarrollado de Sudamérica. Permite disfrutar de su atractivo las cuatro estaciones del año, ofreciendo una amplia variedad de servicios, entre ellos un amplio abanico de opciones gastronómicas y locales comerciales, y por supuesto, la posibilidad de hacer un sinfín de actividades deportivas de nieve y de montaña. Cabe mencionar que cuenta con 34 medios de elevación (entre aerosillas, cabinas y medios de arrastre), facilitando el ascenso de 29 mil personas por hora.

Debe su nombre a la similitud de sus picos de piedra que coronan la cumbre con las torres de una catedral gótica. Para ascender a la cumbre los visitantes disponen del cable Carril un transporte que recorre casi 3200 mts. Desde la base hasta los 1800 mts de altura.

Cuando llegues a la cima podrás disfrutar de increíbles vistas a los lagos Nahuel Huapi y Gutiérrez, la cordillera de los Andes, el cerro Tronador, y los cerros demás circundantes.

Para comenzar nuestra Excursión a Cerro Catedral, el camino se inicia por la Av. Bustillo hacia el oeste de la ciudad de Bariloche, luego de pasar Playa Bonita se dobla a la izquierda hasta Virgen de la Nieves para tomar la ruta hacia la derecha que nos conduce a la Villa del Catedral al pie del cerro que cuenta con todos los servicios para el visitante (alojamiento, restaurantes, confiterías, etc).

Llegar al Cerro Catedral es estar en el centro de actividades de montaña más grande de Sudamérica elegido así hace más de 60 años por ser la cuna del ski en nuestro país.

Observaciones:

  • Menores: A partir del  1ᵉʳ año de edad abonan tarifa “niños”.
  • La base del cerro Catedral se encuentra a unos 1000 metros sobre el nivel del mar, por lo que recorrerla no ofrece dificultad alguna. Los medios de elevación ascienden hasta casi los 2000 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
  • Tarifa aplicable saliendo desde hoteles céntricos, consultar por otros hoteles o puntos de encuentro
