Overview

Caverna de las Brujas y Cascada Manqui Malal conforman una combinación perfecta para un día excepcional.

A 77 km de la ciudad de Malargüe se encuentra la Caverna de las Brujas. Está ubicada en la ladera del cerro Moncol a 1830 msnm. En sus más de 5.000 m de recorrido podremos encontrar espeleotemas como estalactitas y estalagmitas de las más diversas formas, dimensiones y colores. Las estalactitas son elementos en forma de aguja que cuelgan de los techos de las cavidades. Y las estalagmitas son similares a las primeras pero se forman desde los pisos. También están las columnas, que son la unión de estalactitas y estalagmitas. Los velos son formaciones semejantes a cortinas.

A 33 Km. de la ciudad de Malargüe, se encuentra un salto agua de unos 30 mts: la cascada de Manqui Malal (Manqui = Cóndor, Malal = Barda). Durante la caminata descubriremos fósiles marinos y conoceremos las famosas Bardas o Malales que dan el nombre al Departamento, además de conocer parte la flora y fauna del lugar. En este sitio existe un pequeño restaurante con todos los servicios donde se puede disfrutar de la gastronomía regional.

Al finalizar la visita en Caverna de las Brujas y Cascada Manqui Malal emprendemos el viaje de regreso.

Observaciones:

  • Para el ingreso al parque privado se paga una entrada
  • Menores: Hasta 8 años abonan tarifa “niños”.
  • Debe formarse un grupo de 4 personas para que se realice la salida (Consultar cupos previamente)
  • Consultar precio en privado (mínimo requerido: 2 personas)

Recomendaciones:

  • Para realizar el recorrido dentro de la caverna llevar abrigo y calzado cómodo. Debido a que, en el interior hay 90 % de humedad y 10o Co todo el año. Se provee a cada pasajero un casco y una linterna frontal (Provistos por Recursos Naturales).
  • Es aconsejable llevar sombrero o gorro para sol, protector solar y agua.
  • Importante: Caverna de las Brujas no es aconsejable para persona que sufran de claustrofobia, de contextura grande o con problemas cardíacos. 
  • Edad mínima: En Caverna de las Brujas niños de 5 a 7 años solo pueden ingresar hasta la sala de “La Virgen”. Pero para realizar el recorrido completo la edad mínima es de 7 años. Para Cascada Manqui Malal no hay edad mínima realizar para la caminata.

08.00 hs - Comienzo de la excursión a Caverna de las Brujas y Cascada Manqui Malal

A la hora indicada nuestro guía pasará a buscarlo por el hotel a la hora indicada y saldremos rumbo a la Caverna de las Brujas y la Casacada Manqui Malal para disfrutar de la mañana en esta histórica reserva.

Durante el día

Dependiendo de las condiciones climáticas y camino, la duración mínima de esta aventura es de 6 hs. En la Caverna de Las Brujas el recorrido turístico es de aproximadamente 200 m., y dura entre 1:15 hs hasta 2:00 hs dependiendo del grupo. Luego o antes de visitar la Caverna visitaremos las cascadas de Manqui Malal (parque privado), en este lugar hay un restaurante para disfrutar de un buen almuerzo con gastronomía regional o de una media tarde.

14.00 hs - Regreso y finaización

A la hora indicada emprenderemos el viaje de regreso al hotel para dar fin a esta aventura.
