The Tigre Delta refers to the way in which this river flows into the Río de la Plata, giving life to a set of islands and streams that make up a surprising natural space, visited by hundreds of tourists annually. Due to its sedimentary waters, this delta is in constant growth originating sandbanks, islets and terraces.
The city of Tigeris located only 32 km from the city of Buenos Aires. It is a city full of energy, history, spectacular scenery and full of places to visit. Among its main points of interest, we find the Parque de la Costa, the Mate Museum, the Niní Marshall Theater and China Town Tigre, and many more!
In this unique excursion, we will learn about the life of the islanders, their customs, culture and ways of life. We will have lunch in front of the river and visit the Puerto de Frutos, a very characteristic place, which currently functions as a handicrafts market. It has a wide variety of commercial and gastronomic establishments. On the way back we will see the majestic mansions of the northern area of the province of Buenos Aires, which are another of the attractions of this day.
We will make a stop in San Isidro and descend, to learn about its history and characters. Also, as part of this Delta and Tigre excursion, we will see the Quinta Residencial del Presidente de la Nación (Quinta de Olivos). This relevant historical property, with 30 hectares, is located in the town of Olivos, in the district of Vicente López. It was built in 1854 and belonged to the member of the First Government Junta, Miguel de Azcuénaga. In 1918 it was donated by one of his descendants to the National State. A historic building with hundreds of stories to discover.
On Sundays the tour can end if you wish, in San Telmo, antique dealers fair.

At the indicated time our guide will pick you up at the hotel to start the excursion.
We will sail through the waters of the Delta and get to know the city of Tigre, its charms and nooks and crannies.

On the way back to the hotel we will visit the Quinta Residencial del Presidente de la Nación. After that, we will finish this complete excursion.
