Caverna de las Brujas and Manqui Malal Waterfall make a perfect combination for an exceptional day.
77 km from the city of Malargüe is the Caverna de las Brujas (Witches' Cavern). It is located on the slope of the Moncol hill at 1830 meters above sea level. In its more than 5,000 m of route we will be able to find speleothems like stalactites and stalagmites of the most diverse forms, dimensions and colors. Stalactites are needle-shaped elements that hang from the ceilings of the cavities. And the stalagmites are similar to the first ones but are formed from the floors. There are also the columns, which are the union of stalactites and stalagmites. The veils are formations similar to curtains.
33 Km. from the city of MalargüeWe will visit a waterfall of about 30 meters: the Manqui Malal waterfall (Manqui = Condor, Malal = Barda). During the walk we will discover marine fossils and we will know the famous Bardas or Malales that give the name to the Department, besides knowing part of the flora and fauna of the place. In this place there is a small restaurant with all the services where you can enjoy the regional gastronomy.
At the end of the visit in Caverna de las Brujas and Manqui Malal Waterfall we start our return trip.
